Customer Reviews
Spellarium 2 is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A game for intermediate to advanced players OPTIONS FOR PLAY INCLUDE: ************************************************************** 1) "HINTS": You should know, that although you can have HINTS on or off, having them on will ONLY give you written hints and not moves using arrow indicators. An example would be ("create a combo to move this key."). 2) RELAXED/ TIMED/ LIMITED MOVES. ******************************************************************* GREAT GRAPHICS during the match-3 phases. The graphics are sparkly and shimmery...! Rockets flying hither and thither as you combine 5 elements (to remove unreachable coins). Matching 4 gives you dynamite. Matching 5 gives you a rocket. This game uses the normal SWITCHING format to create your combos. In addition, "match-5s" can be created, not just vertically and horizontally, but also at 90 degrees ! (2 vertical, 2 horizontal, and then move a corner into place.) All the stuff is here, like break through brick walls, move your key to the lock by eliminating units, direct fire to melt ice, and more. Note, you can only use the dynamite on walls etc if they are at 90 degrees adjacent (and not diagonally). Lots of pop, whizz and wow! The other parts of the game, like find the differences have lower standard graphics, and you can skip them if you want. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Saga Continues If you liked the first Spellarium you will like this as well. You have to help the Wizard to build up the surroundings. This is not your average match 3 game. It is a little harder, but it is easy once you know what to do. You click on the book in the upper left hand corner and it will guide you on what to do.I will be adding this to my collection. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT MATCH 3 GAME BUT EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE FIRST SPELLARIUM Eric the wizard has returned to Spellarium with a new mission from the gods. Spellarium currently consists of 6 elements, fire, air, earth, water, light and darkness. The gods have given us a clue to help us find the missing element, when it's in the air, you can see a rainbow! (surely it's Pegasus, lol!) If you love Lauraville, you're gonna love this challenging game as well. So far, I haven't noticed any new features in this edition of Spellarium, other than the board layouts, but this is such a cool game that it doesn't really matter! You still get to play mini games such as Solitaire or Spot the Difference. You can play in Relaxed, Limited Time or Limited Moves modes, so there's a Match 3 style for just about everyone. The object of each level is to remove all coins, but in order to do so, you will need to make several Match 5's to receive Rockets that will go after targeted coins that are located on the outside area of the board, or located behind obstacles that have no access otherwise! Matches of 4 tiles will earn you Dynamite that explodes to destroy those nasty ladybugs or set off chain reaction bombs, Matches of 6 tiles earn a Star that targets all tiles of the same kind as matched with, and Matches of 7 will give you a whole pack of Dynamite. Of course there are several obstacles such as Boards, Shields, Ground, Clay, Fog, Ice, and even Green Fog to make it even more challenging. Each of these obstacles require specific items to destroy, you may need to fill bottles with liquid, fill in coins with liquid gold, move keys towards locks, move coin halves to make a whole coin or even ignite a cannon. It's a really fun but very challenging Match 3 game, enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Match 3 with extras If you loved the cursed house series you will definitely love this also, as it has the same gameplay and extra elements. If you didn't like cursed house because of it's dark halloween theme then this game is a perfect alternative. There is nothing dark here, only delightful icons, lady bugs, and a crystal temple to build. From the get go the gameplay is advanced with helpful hints provided along the way and a guidebook if needed for reference. There is no silliness of limited moves and you can choose either relaxed or timed modes. The only drawback I see is that there are only 110 levels, but as nice as it is I can see the enjoyment of replaying them. This is a lovely game and worth the purchase price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Another match 3 not for me I keep trying match 3 games to find the one that has the thrill and want to play scenario I want. Sadly, this one doesn't hack it. I really didn't get what I was supposed to do probably because I tend to skip through any explanations or instructions so I can play the game. Might be fine if you read the instructions but this is not for me. I don't recommend this one but don't take my word for it, you may love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too hard This game makes no sense, what so ever. While I play match 3 games, this one is ridiculous. It is hard to figure out, then it getsjust pain boring. I do not recommend this game.
